I have changed my story plot a few times, but I finalized a fun and lighthearted metaphor for summertime screaming for our attention! My friend Josie will be walking through the snow. The pineapple animation I will create in Illustrator will also be sad, lost, and in a few random places. When their story overlaps, she feels confused and curious. She continues to follow it and is led down a portal! From there, she starts to become transported through different random scenes, like Spongebob's pineapple under the sea! Next, she ends up at a tiki bar and drinks the Pina Colada, a sacrificial choice that the pineapple has become. This shows generosity and excitement for the next season to come!! My other two motivating ideas included Lizzie McGuire's animated character that represents her internal thoughts and follow her around. I love the playfulness and uniqueness of the animation overlapping a real-life scene. Also, I like the idea of the hand in the TV show Wednesday because that also mixes reality and fantasy. I will use a participating friend to make it fun to edit. I cannot wait!
